Call for applications Yalla Yalla Intiaitive Berlin Viadrina School of Governance – Politics and Culture on the Development of Potential of Young Politicians in Egypt and Germany
The Governance Center Middle East and North Africa at the Viadrina University in Berlin is organising a joint Egyptian- German workshop on political communication
The workshop will be translated simultaneously in German and Arabic. English knowledge is therefore not necessary but would be preferred.
The target group are young adults from a socio-political environment, who may be members of political parties or politically involved and / or the fellow of a political foundation in Egypt and Germany
Workshop: "Yalla, Yalla II" – Politics and Culture on the Development of Potential of Young Politicians in Egypt and Germany
Time span: 15th – 26th September 2013 in Cairo
The main objective of the newly founded GOVERNANCE CENTER Middle East | North Africa in June 2012, will be to attentively follow the process of profound change in North Africa and the Middle East. It sees itself as a part of German (and EU) efforts to contribute to freedom, security and economic development in North Africa and the Middle East.
Goals
A joint Egyptian-German Workshop on political communication, on the culture of the development of potential, a systematic understanding and a dialogue on the political situation in Germany and Egypt brings up new and fresh input for participants of both countries while promoting their cultural sensitivity and competence and help each other understand their specific challenges comprehensively to discuss actual situations and find potential solutions to achieve them.
